Matcha:

Our matcha is grown and harvested in Uji city near Kyoto, Japan, the birthplace of tea and especially matcha. Tea produced in this region is known for it’s bright color and vibrant flavor. The soil quality and process of harvesting makes it unique and of exceptional quality compared to most matcha that is commercially available.

Our matcha is “shade grown” - meaning it’s traditionally grown in the shade for the last 20 days before harvest. This helps enhance the bright emerald color due to chlorophyll, boost amino acids like L-theanine and increases antioxidants.
